"Where did you get that mask? It looks like something that would be sold in my native Japan." She examined the others mask in facination.

It was an unusual manner of wearing a mask which caught her attention upon noticing the girl standing with her sights firmly fixed on something down the street. What precisely, Misaki couldn't determine. Her sights scanned the direction in which the girl was looking; newsagent, takeaway, toy shop, ice cream parlor. Was there something among them, or those either side which had captured her attention? Perhaps the fountain protruding from the bushes encircling the green just beyond; difficult to say.
Misaki dared to find out by the quickest method possible. "Something you like the look of? Or is it this area's new to you?"

“Are you okay?”
He decided to hide behind a building to avoid being spotted for now. The little rest he had now would help him recover his breathing a bit before he can take off running again. Being found in a dead end would surely not be good at all.
It was rather strange that his body was going on instinct to avoid these monsters. Something that he was just not used to. He can’t even imagine what would happen if he did get caught–
No, he shouldn’t think about that right now. He should be more concerned about the girl that was also in the same place with him.
“We shouldn’t…stay here for too long…”
As a very reckless person lacking a sense for danger, Kinu brought herself from one dangerous situation into another. Thus far, everything worked out well for her, but not only her father but friends kept telling Kinu karma would bite her in the tail one day. And as it seemed that day was today.
“He... hey!”, the girl yelled, buried under pebble. “Is anybody there?!”
Switcheroo!
It’s difficult to say that Nibiiro has many friends—a highschool environment doesn’t lend itself very well to those naturally avoidant ofcompany. And she’s so small! that it’samazing one of the jock heads (read: DIO) hasn’t made a sport out of tossing her around the hallways yet.
Despite that, Nibiiro is uncharacteristically foolhardy in her school relationships. Where one would find themselves constantly anxious at the prospect of coming back to this school, Nibiiro is constantly excited. Granted, she’s anxious enough on her own as it is, and it’s doubtful she’ll ever be able to let go of that fear and hesitation whenever meeting a new classmate, but perhaps her precise care for details has differentiated her from just another shy face in the crowd.
It takes a while– a whole year, in fact– before second year Nibiiro lands a partnership with the front office. She mainly swings by during her free period or whenever there’s a school rally to help out with a few odd-end jobs, but it’s the perfect perch for her. Here, she feels like she can tap into the brain of the school, listening to nearly every call that comes in and out of these four walls, watching students come up with the most outrageous excuse as to why they were late to class. To keep working hard in this office means to eventually work her way up to becoming a receptionist, and Nibiiro holds tight to that hope.

“Well hello, hello, you're awfully cute, aren't you?” Something about her reminded her of Velvet which was almost comforting in a way.
