❛ugh.❜ The obvious display of affection between fighters was tiresome to say the least, although she couldn’t blame them for finding comfort in another’s presence. At time’s like these, there were so few you could trust. Just like the leader, Ivy, felt little compassion towards her ‘teamates’. Not knowing their names or motives, they only had one thing in common: destroy the beast.
Judging by the failed attempts of her allies, however, Ivy found that her tactics would have to differ from theirs. Brute force was not an option… who was to say stealth would be the same?
She paced herself in reaching a foot of the scaled beast, her eyes narrowed at all it represented. A physical embodiment of hatred and destruction— a monster of plague.
❛you’re encroaching in my eden!❜ She yelled at the highest her lungs would call, all the while her hands raised with the force of nature following behind them. Trees began to sprout from the dirt below her and before long they grew a mind of their own. Walking trees, in essence.
The branches of these creatures began slashing at the heel of the monster and despite the groaning voices which infiltrated her head, Ivy turned to the others from her group. With her hands clutching her face, she doubled over but still shouted to them. ❛have you heard of teamwork?!❜

If she was going to be honest, Coco had little to no intention of getting involved with this creature and especially not with strangers. The very least that she thought would bring her into coming around was her team being around or others enrolled at Beacon, but it seemed they had other plans and with other people. Typical.
But once faced with the threat, it suddenly sank in how important it was that they beat it- should it run loose, who knew if she'd be able to make it back to her apartment not to mention home to see said beloved students.
Time to finally live in the now as she always said she would.
“Running head first into a city-wrecking monster isn't exactly teamwork either, now is it, hun?” The huntress chided absentmindedly, heels clicking heavily as she heaved the large weapon in her hands into a proper position to get what she assumed would be a good hit on the beast. Without a moment’s hesitation, the gattling gun opened fire with reckless abandon and without warning, though making sure to refrain from accidentally filling a teammate with lead.
“Fucking ridiculous, not what I thought this hell hole would be like at all.” She muttered, as if such large scale fights were something out of the norm.
