I WOULD but when I say 'not in a position to adopt kitties' I mean 'I have no supplies and no financial means of obtaining them in the immediate future plus I'm going to be gone from the apartment for almost a week soon after and also my landlord's dumb rule about having to meet the prospective kitties makes it difficult to find one to adopt'

I mean I could try to ILLEGALLY keep a cat but I'm not ready to go that route.

very true, but I also think she really wants that for herself, to me she seems like that kind of person that needs challenges and she is very intelligent, so it seems to be the perfect way to get out of twin peaks, impress Cooper (and increase the chances of staying in contact with him) and get new challenges all the time...
