Cave de Bissey Crémant de Bourgogne Brut

This is my sparkling wine face. Steely on the nose with fresh-cut ripe pear, lemon, and apple. Nice, delicate and fine mousse (bubbles) on the palate with steely notes of pears and lemons. Very clean and pure. A bubbly from France for $10? Yes, please.

Female producer. Château de Béru AmalGamay is a blend of gamay from Beaujolais and aligoté from Saint Bris. The wine is made using organic and biodynamic practices, and is aged in old oak for 18 months. No fining and No filtering. Notes of carbonic maceration.

Dark red cherry, darker red fruit, slightly effervescent, low tannins, low acidity, light to medium body.
