❝Ben…Ten-Ten-10?!❞ A shrill voice escapes his mouth. He just can’t contain himself any longer. He had spotted it. The number 10 on Ben’s chest. He begins to gesture towards it, wild in his typical buoyant state. 

❝My friend Sportacus has that number on his chest too!❞ A fervent Ziggy is bouncing up and down on the spot. ❝Yeah and he’s really cool too! Do you know him?!❞ Likely the identical numbers on their chest was nothing more than a coincidence. When I’m older I want to be a superhero just like you guys! I’m not that good at it yet but one day I will be good enough and I will save people and do cool moves and sign autographs too!❞ He pauses, momentarily, to catch his breath and a lick of his oversized lollipop.

❝Right now I’m a sidekick in training! Do you think you could teach me how to turn into something cool too?! Like a…like a little, furry mouse?!❞

Oooh. His head is ringing like crazy. Syd pushes up, fingers splaying out against the ground as he struggles to his feet. He hadn’t been this drunk in ages, to wake up somewhere he wasn’t familiar with. But as he sits up, he notices that there’s a few things missing. One - he’s definitely not at the bar, or his home. && two?

He wouldn’t be drinking with a kid.
