Some images are easy to come by others undergo significant transformation. This portrait of @ot_rt_ refelected the latter where I returned again and again to the head desperately trying to capture her likeness. In a funny kind of way it mirrored how Otti makes work adding subtracting moving layering omitting fragments of image and text that hint at more complex relationships of the self to geography both real and virtual. We had a fabulous last day of term and a special thank you to Helen and The team at @cristearoberts for giving us access to some fabulous work and a chance to see the two fabulous shows @ranabegumstudio @phoebe.boswell #miramdeBurke #alikazim.
