I'm so excited for the Cardiff show, even tho I will probably end up crying at some point. I'm doing Reading, Oxford and London too :)
I know, Cardiff's going to be so good. Emotional, but good. Going out on a high!

11 Questions
I’ve been tagged!!!
Rule 1: Always post the rules
Rule 2: Answer the questions the person who tagged you asked, and write 11 new ones
Rule 3: Tag 11 people and link them to the post
Rule 4: Actually tell them you tagged them 11 questions
SO…….
1. Who would you like to play you in a film about your life?
Kat Dennings - I'm allowed a younger, prettier version of me (with bigger boobs) yes?
2. Fantasy dinner party: you can invite 10 guests, alive or dead.
Douglas Adams, Stephen Fry, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Woodward, Joss Whedon, Felicia Day, Wil Wheaton, Robert Downey Jnr, Magda Apanowicz
3. Who was the first person you fell in love with, in RL or a celebrity?
A boy at high school, in my year, called John. My family & his family were friends. He was my first kiss (not very successful) and he never asked me out
4. Good or Evil?
Me? IRL I'm pretty good. My fantasies however...
5. Beach holiday or mountain retreat?
Beach holiday retreat with excellent internet connection
6. Your first OTP?
I had to look that up. Not a clue sorry.
7. What’s your lucky number and is there a particular reason why it’s your lucky number?
42 - the answer to life, the universe and everything. I loved being 42, people would ask how old I was and I'd reply "I am the answer"
8. Where in the world would you most like to live?
Anywhere with someone I loved and who loved me. As long as it was warm, had no extremes of weather, access to good food places and excellent internet connection
9. Where do you feel the safest?
Alone in my bed
10. Tea or coffee?
Coffee - hot, strong & sweet (like my men). Not instant! (again, not like my men) Tea is only good for dunking biscuits
11. If the world was ending in 48 hours, what 5 things would you be sure to do?
Tell the people I love and admire that I do love & admire them.
Cry at all the opportunities for fun & frolics that I've missed.
Listen to all my favourite music very loudly & dance.
Eat without considering the calories.
Drink until I didn't care.

If you could go back in time and alter the course of just one event, which would you choose and why?
I'd alter one but can't state here. Too personal.
Not sure I'd want to alter anything, I know things aren't great now but they could possibly be worse if I changed something. Of course, the bright spark who thought we should have a patriarchal society could be sat down and given a severe talking to.
2. Which fictional character (literary/cinematic/whatever) would you say most reflects your personality?
The bowl of petunias in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - perpetually in a state of 'oh no, not again'
3. Name three essential items you always pack on a trip that are not clothing or toiletries.
Inhaler, phone, phone charger
4. Have you ever seen a play on Broadway? If so, what was the last show you saw, and which show is your favorite?
No, never been to any show on Broadway. I went to see We Will Rock You in London earlier this year, that was pretty fun.
5. Have you ever sung karaoke? What is your go-to karaoke song?
I can sing, flat and out of tune. My hubby is a singer and once said he hoped our kids didn't sing like me (remind me why he isn't dead lol). I sing in the car, with the music turned up loud so I can't hear. I love singing. It makes me sad that I can't within earshot of anyone.
6. Do you play any musical instruments? If so, what?
I started learning the keyboard 20yrs ago. Then had kids. I'd like to learn guitar sometime.
7. If you HAD to audition for any of the currently running reality tv shows, which one would you choose?
*goes to google current reality shows*
OMG that's dire. I'd rather disembowell myself with a blunt spoon.
8. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right-handed.
9. Did you play any sports as a kid? If so, which ones, and what position did you play?
If I was forced to play sports at high school I played netball, usually defence, or rounders, whatever was needed.
For the US peeps netball is basketball and rounders is baseball - except in the UK they're regarded as girls games.
10. Describe the town where you grew up.
I still live here. Morecambe, Lancashire. It's a seaside resort that had its hey-day in the 50s and 60s before cheap travel abroad and package holidays became affordable. The view across the bay to the Lake District hills is stunning, the sunsets are gorgeous. Walking along the promenade is one of my favourite relaxing things to do. Unless it's raining. There's Happy Mount Park at the east end of the prom which has been improved in recent years - including two swings which will fit adult sized bottoms. I try these out regularly. The town centre is small, we have no fairground and no swimming pool anymore. The Midland Hotel is a recently refurbished art-deco building which was used in a Poirot episode. Our famous exports are Eric Morecambe (one half of Morecambe and Wise comedy duo - his statue is on the prom) and Baxters potted shrimps which I have never tried coz they sound disgusting. We have nice sandy beaches due to copious amounts of imported sand. If you're walking on the prom early enough you can watch a person in a tractor dragging a large rake over the sands.
I could go on...

Your questions -
1. What would be the best gift that someone would give you this xmas? Why?

4. Tell your favourite joke.
5. Name the four team members you'd like to have in an emergency (anybody you want, fact or fictional)
