omg yeah!! i’ve talked about this before pero it’s such a funny story that i can’t help but tell it again :)

it was so strange because this was WAAAAY back when i was a freshman in college eight years ago and had a nobody blog (still do <3). that’s why when my class friend (after a few weeks of knowing me), looked at me and was like, “wait, are you [my old url that’s super embarrassing] on tumblr?” it was SUCH a shock to my system. it’s like, what do you mean...you notice me? you know who i am?? like it’s not strange by any means because i did post selfies on here (just haven’t taken many photos in the past four years so i haven’t had anything to post) and i did post in my school’s tumblr tag like i chalked it up to that. however, the REAL kicker?? this friend also said that their friends they saw AT A CONVENTION ALSO recognized me and i was like............................so you’re saying i’m also popular in the convention world as well? LITERALLY SO BONKERS!! now you would think you would instantly want to go dark on all your socials after an interaction like that pero NOT ME!! BIGGEST FUCKING EGO BOOST, BABEYY!! i was still humble but like it was like...woah,,,people Know Me that’s so cool i am Real to them...

sometimes i think i made it up?? because my brain tends to do that but i know it was SO vivid like you just don’t forget those kind of moments and why would you want to make up a scenario where somebody recognizes you from your shit tumblr blog? and like....very funny because i was still a superwholock whore during that time so it kinda leads to the validity that yeah, people would recognize me if i was a superwholock content creator (which i was but only for doctor who...) but it’s so...weird?? because i was not a big blog but maybe it was because we both were from a small private catholic liberal arts university and our orbit was tiny...so yes, that is the story of how i got recognized in real life from my tumblr blog where i was still actively in the superwholock fandom <33
