“Let me tell you, being small is not so bad, even if you don't get to watch Mad Hatterton’s cooking show.” The caterpillar’s face morphs every second to match his emotions to their extremity. “I, I mean I like being a caterpillar, I just don't like being small. I've learned in my five years of living, though, that it's best to stay the same size you're born with. Even if it means never getting noticed by your favorite star!” The cat hybrid seems to be going through an existential crisis every other second.
You ask him if there's a way to become big again.
“You lucky kid, you have the again, and I don’t. Imagine a giant caterpillar! That’d be ridiculous.” His voice and face droop as he continues to ramble. “There isn’t a way to grow again, I mean, you’d have to find a tiny bottle in the flower meadow, and that’s really far. I mean, if you really feel like walking aaaalllllll the way there. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to go back in time and not get shrunk!” Burgerpillar looks like he’s almost in tears, and his face is contorted from biting his lip.
It strikes you. Go back in time. Maybe, you have enough determination to go back before the Chesans fight! Or, even better, to go back before you went through the looking glass. Wouldn’t that be nice, to not have murder on your hands…
You thank Burgerpillar before squeezing your eyes shut. “No problem, I’ll be here, regretting my life.”

Asrielocky’s claws mimic roots by digging into the earthy ground. The mutant flower dragon is unrealistically terrifying. Your problems seem so much simpler if you personify them into this terrible being. You're filled with determination.
“Your stupid save file won't save you now.” Save file? What save file? “I'll kill you over and over, and you won't be able to do anything.”
You run at him, burying and fear you have. Asrielocky laughs at your futile attempt. He snatches you in his claws and crushes your rib cage. You feel you grip on this world slipping. The world begins to fade, but you don't want to die! You have to stay alive and save this world! You can't die this way. You try to summon any power you have to go back.
You feel time rushing past you, like wind blowing in your face. The darkness of death lifts, and suddenly, you're back in front of Asrielocky.
“Back again? I'll just have to keep killing you, not that I mind.” The white flower-dragon face contorts with a warped sense of glee. This time, you try to move to the side and then run at him. He dips down to bite you, and you find yourself facing death once again. You go back, over and over, becoming slightly discouraged by the repetition.
On your ninth time of returning, you notice the cold that had been pressing against your thigh. You reach inside one of the dress pockets and your hand curls around a knife handle. You pull it out. The knife has some strange dust on it. Happy that you actually have a chance at fighting Asrielocky, you run at him. Before he can dodge, you stab the blade into his snout. Flowey lets out an enraged roar, backing up with his root-like feet. His snout starts to bleed. You charge at him again and slice at his chest. It rips open and blood is released.

You turn away from the looking glass and walk deeper into the unknown. Spider webs seem to be much more frequent on this side of the mirror. A few of them have flyers for a spider bake sale in them. Everything has a soft red glow, blurring the line between safe and dangerous.
Suddenly, something flies across your vision. Soft cackles fill the air. A small spider skitters above you across the ceiling. You feel a sense of forboding.
You notice the rocky tunnel you're in gradually gets lighter the further you go. After a few minutes, you see the end, a spot of light at the end of the tunnel. You take a step forward, only to find a ghost at your feet. It is repeatedly saying “z”, pretending to be asleep. You nudge it.
The ghost rises to look at you. It has wings on its back, making it look more like a fairy than a ghost. Its grey eyes stare through you, and you swallow nervously.
“ Don't mind me… “ it moans sadly. “I'm just trying to distract myself from this world…”
You feel a pang of sympathy for the ghost. It starts to cry, but its eyes remain unblinking. You try to reassure the ghost that he's doing fine, and for a moment he looks a little better. You tell him a joke, and he smiles slightly.
“What… do you think of this…?” The ghost cries his tears into his hand and they form a name. It appears to be Napstablook, but the Nap is crossed out and replaced with Flap. The ghost fairy flicks its wings for emphasis. You let out a slightly forced but genuine-sounding laugh.
Seeming satisfied, the ghost quietly laughs with you. “You… you know, you could've walked through me to get through, being a ghost and all… But thank you…”
You nod at him in an embarrassed fasion and continue down the tunnel. You have to block the light with you arm as you finally exit.
Once your eyes have adjusted, you see a huge glowworm shining down upon a giant system of spider webs. Tiny spiders scatter everywhere as you walk deeper into the cavern. They chitter and laugh at you when you foolishly get a hand stuck in the webbing. The entire system shakes from your touch, and you find yourself holding your breath.

The scent of the golden flowers fills you with determination. You open the grey door to find a long hallway. Windows line one of the walls, filling it with sunlight. You glance back outside. For a split second you see Flowey smiling at you, but you can’t be sure if it’s just your imagination.
You walk down the corridor, and the sound of your footsteps ricochets off the walls. You spot Chesans trotting ahead. He disappears through a side door, his tail bobbing behind him. You quiet your steps by hopping on tippie toes as you follow him. You pass by a mirror, and find you look like you did before. You start giggling because you look so silly standing on your tiptoes. Your laughter rings through the hall, reminding you of the echo flowers. Spooked, you continue forward.
You enter an enclosed garden. Golden light streams in from above. The garden is filled with rose bushes, some red and some white. The red ones are dripping as if they'd been painted. A few guards, wearing red armor and holding heart-tipped spears, are painting some white roses.
In the center of the garden are thirteen window panes. Inside each one is a card, except for one, which is empty. Almost all of the heart suit is present, being 2 through king. You look at the writing underneath the empty glass. It says Alisk.
You ask a guard what the cards are. He looks at you pompously and tells you that each one is a human soul. You walk away slowly to a door across the garden. Before you can reach it, a really tall goat hybrid that reminds you vaguely of Toriel walks through it. He has larger horns, a yellow beard, and is wearing a dress. A tiny golden crown sits on top of his head. The dress has hearts all over it, with different colored hearts on his sleeve puffs. His white furry hands clasp together as he looks at the guards.

You call out for Chesans. Alphare had said he could guide you to the queen’s castle. But nobody came.
You pick a direction and walk. The glow of eyeballs flash between the bone branches of the teeth. Looking down, you find the ground is smears of green and blue. You keep walking, with only the sound of your feet squelching against the mud to keep you company. You see a few forest animals here and there, but they stay out of your way. Mostly.
You step into a small colorful grass patch and hear a squeak beneath your feet. You jump back to find that it wasn’t grass, but a bunch of strange tiny cats. They have a dorky accent, and their intelligence is questionable.
“Hoi! I’m Temmie!” one of them meows. “And deez are my friends, Temmie!”
You clear your throat and continue walking. To your disappointment, they follow you at your heels. “Welcome to Temmie village!” one of them chirps.
You start running, and the little cats begin to fall behind. Soon you can no longer hear their babbling. You walk for an hour, at least it feels like an hour. Time doesn’t exactly work the same in Underland.
“Knock knock.”
You hear the familiar voice faintly in the distance. Your curiosity tells you to stay silent as you draw closer.
“Who’s there?” It’s a gentle bleat, one full of comfort. You can see a house with a large door. Chesans is sitting on the doorstep and talking through it.
“Bee.” Chesans’ tail twitches with contained anticipation. His frozen smile somehow seems more genuine.
“Bee who?” the sweet voice replies.
“Bee who you wanna bee.”
The goat voice starts laughing. Somehow, it reminds you of your mother, and your heart aches.

She’s a rather large rabbit, your height, standing on her hind legs. She’s wearing a labcoat over her fluffy brown fur. Her eyes gaze at you nervously.
“H-hello, human. What are you doing here?” She twitches her nose, after which she pushes her glasses back into place.
You tell Alphare with a slightly tense tone that you want to go home.
“Oh, that.” She smiles awkwardly and scratches the back of her head. Her ears droop a bit lower. “W-why don’t you come have some tea?”
“Oh! Is the human our guest? I apologize for being so terribly rude,” the robot says sarcastically, standing up and taking a deep bow. “Take a seat, gorgeous. Whichever one you like.”
He watches you closely as you choose the striped red seat. You're about to sit down when you notice there's a fuse attached to it. It’s already lit.
“Oh my! That chair is in fact a bomb! Actually…” As you look around at all the chairs, you notice all of them have lit fuses. “They're all bombs! And, if you don’t defuse them all, that bomb hanging off of Alphare’s bird feeder will blow you to smithereens in two minutes!”
The March Alphare’s ears go up in questionable shock as she turns to find a pink bomb with a ticking timer hanging off of her bird feeder.
“How terrible! How disturbing! Oh, the intensity of it all!” Hatterton brings the back of his hand dramatically to his head and sighs. “Good luck, darling!”

You run between the towering blue stalks of the echo flowers. The looping laughs of Flowey reach the flowers around you, and fearful tears form in your eyes. You cover your ears and sprint as fast as you can. Not being careful of where you place your feet, you trip on a root and fall on the grassy ground. You look up, your vision blurred by tears, to find Flowey sprouting out of the ground.
“You idiot! Did you really think you could get away from me?” The line of his mouth morphs into jagged teeth, and his eyes stare hungrily at you. You blink away the tears and discover a tiny bottle lying on the ground with a tag saying DRINK ME attached to it. You grab it and glance up at Flowey. The tiniest flicker of fear passes over his floral face. His countenance quickly shifts to an angry appearance as he screams, “You really want to shrink more? If you drink that you'll be too small to see! You really are an idiot.” A crease had formed over his eyes while saying that, the same crease that had formed when he'd mentioned the ‘friendliness pellets.’
You open the bottle and take a tiny sip. A scorching pain rips through your body as you rise above the flowers. Flowey screeches at you, but by now you've grown to your previous height, and the pain stops. You try to stomp on the little liar, but he sucks himself down into the dirt before you can touch him.
