Read the prologue, chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3, chapter 4, chapter 5,chapter 6, chapter 7,chapter 8, chapter 9, chapter 10, and chapter 11, and chapter 12 first!
When the light clears, you find yourself lying down in the hallway before the barrier room. Toriel, Asgore, Chesans, Pappybit, Undyne, and March Alphare are all bending over you, looking concerned. You scratch your head and sit up.
“Thank goodness you’re alright. We were starting to worry that you were dead.” Toriel smiles sweetly at you.
“We have no memory of what just happened. Just a flower appeared and then everything went white? And then we ended up here somehow.” Undyne clears her throat. “This whole thing was pretty weird. But, hey, the barrier’s broken!”
“Yeah, we can go to the surface now. It’ll be nice to see real stars, and feel real sunlight.” Alphare actually smiles, and Undyne hugs her. Alphare seems to be blushing, but you can’t quite tell because of her fur.
“Also, it seems the looking glass is broken as well!” Asgore announces happily. “Finally, all those trapped monsters can go back to their families.”
The happiness inside you vanishes instantly and fear pumps through your veins. If the looking glass is gone, then that means…

“You idiots. While you guys were having your little pow-wow... I took the human souls!” Dread fills your insides. He betrayed you! You wonder why you ever trusted him in the first place. The flower continues his shpiel. “And now, not only are those under my power... But all of your friends’ souls are gonna be mine, too!” His grip tightens on them, and you can hear them give out grunts of pain. “Hee hee hee. And you know what the best part is? It's all your fault. It's all because you made them love you. All the time you spent listening to them... Encouraging them... Caring about them... Without that, they wouldn't have come here. And now, with their souls and the humans' together... I will achieve my real form. You think you saw it in the warped realm, but you were wrong.”
Feeling tired of his tactics, you quietly ask why. “Hee hee... Why am I still doing this? Don't you get it? This is all just a game. If you leave the underground satisfied, you'll ‘win’ the game. If you ‘win,’ you won't want to ‘play’ with me anymore. And what would I do then? But this climactic story between us will never end. I'll hold victory in front of you, just within your reach... And then tear it away just before you grasp it. Over, and over, and over…” You can’t help but groan slightly at his persistence. “Listen. If you do defeat me, I'll give you the ‘happy ending’ that I promised. I'll bring your friends back. I'll destroy the Barrier of Stability. Everyone will finally be satisfied. But, trust me, that won’t happen. You! I'll keep you here no matter what!”

Chesans is nowhere to be found. You push past the large doors to meet the fake sunshine beaming on the castle, and the gloomy forest of teeth beyond. You're not quite sure how to get back through the forest, since you had teleported here both times. Luckily, Asgore’s castle is at the very end of the huge cavern, so you only have one direction to go. You walk across the courtyard and out through a little gate. The ground twitches slightly as you step on it, and you're reminded of the strange red veins that run throughout Underland.
At least you know your chances of getting out of here don't rely on your sanity, not entirely. Your mind begins to feel less strained as you accept this animal-like cave. You feel a drop on your head as you tread deeper into the teeth. You look up to find one of the eyeballs on the ceiling had shed a tear. You wipe it off and keep going. The forest goes on for about a mile, and your legs begin to feel sore from walking on the squishy red ground.
A clearing is finally spotted ahead. You hope it’s Toriel’s, but you soon realize the house has a scaly texture to it. Besides being bizarre, it looks very aquatic. Flowey had said to get a happier ending, and the monster living here might help with that. You approach the metal door and knock. The door shutters at the impact. It swings back to reveal a tall, muscular figure. The creature seems very fish-like, and its lips curl at the sight of you. “You’re a human!” she declares in a gruff voice.
You immediately recognize it. This is the royal guard who had chased you into the mirror maze! You take a step back, feeling a little fear inside you, but you stop yourself from going any further. You inform the guard nervously that you would like to be friends.
“You? You don’t even know me! We don’t even know each other’s names. Besides, you’re a human. I need to capture you for his majesty.” Her slit eyes glare at you with detest. You wave your hands in front of you and tell her to give you a chance.
Her eyes narrow. “Why should I?” You tell her that you know of a way to bring monsters to the surface without killing any more humans.
“I don’t have to believe you!” the guard chuckles. You look a little distressed as you tell her that yes, she needs to, for the sake of all monsterkind.
Her ear flaps lower slightly. “What do you know?”

Read the prologue, chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3, chapter 4, chapter 5, chapter 6, chapter 7, chapter 8, and chapter 9 first!
Fake sunshine fills your eyes when you end up at the palace, in the same place you had ended up before. You look at the shining obscure architecture with a flicker of hope inside you. You know what's in there. You have a much better chance than last time at not screwing over all of Underland. You hold your breath and open the castle door, but as you open it you hear Flowey’s threats from earlier echo in your ears. You turn around sharply, and for a second you think you see that evil golden flower sitting amongst the faceless ones. You force yourself to shrug it off, as he disappears almost instantly. Walking through the beautiful corridor, you can't help but question your sanity. But, hadn't Flowey appeared there last time too? It's bound to be more than a coincidence.
Your footsteps echo as before, and you can see Chesans walking down the hall just a few feet in front of you. You feel major flashbacks to when he fought you so vigorously. That was the first time you had had to fight for your life. Sure, back on the surface there had been play fights with friends and practice duels to keep your skills sharp, but nothing could have prepared you for that. The prospect of what you might find at the barrier strikes you and you fear for having to fight another monster. If a little housecat is that powerful, what could the others do?

“Let me tell you, being small is not so bad, even if you don't get to watch Mad Hatterton’s cooking show.” The caterpillar’s face morphs every second to match his emotions to their extremity. “I, I mean I like being a caterpillar, I just don't like being small. I've learned in my five years of living, though, that it's best to stay the same size you're born with. Even if it means never getting noticed by your favorite star!” The cat hybrid seems to be going through an existential crisis every other second.
You ask him if there's a way to become big again.
“You lucky kid, you have the again, and I don’t. Imagine a giant caterpillar! That’d be ridiculous.” His voice and face droop as he continues to ramble. “There isn’t a way to grow again, I mean, you’d have to find a tiny bottle in the flower meadow, and that’s really far. I mean, if you really feel like walking aaaalllllll the way there. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to go back in time and not get shrunk!” Burgerpillar looks like he’s almost in tears, and his face is contorted from biting his lip.
It strikes you. Go back in time. Maybe, you have enough determination to go back before the Chesans fight! Or, even better, to go back before you went through the looking glass. Wouldn’t that be nice, to not have murder on your hands…
You thank Burgerpillar before squeezing your eyes shut. “No problem, I’ll be here, regretting my life.”
Annnd I made a separate post for my Chesans doodle just because =v= the other post wasn’t really a doodle dump but ehh *shrug*
Be sure to check out @chesans‘ AU, Wondertale!! >wo here’s the prologue

This is the Sans fight chapter! It can be stand-alone.
Wait, why would Charice want to trade places with you again? Didn't she want to go to the mortal realm?
Too late, you're already back in your own body. All of Charice's actions in this realm start pouring into your mind. The weight of how much pain she's caused forces you onto your knees. Tears form around your eyes as visions of monsters dying at your hands flash in your head. You force yourself to block out these new memories and get up to look at the girl.
Charice looks down at herself with glee. She pulls the knife out of her pocket. “I see you used my knife. You're becoming more like me every day. I can't wait until you're ready to join me in erasing this world.”. A smile spreads across Charice’s face. Her red eyes stare at you before she turns and walks away.
The monster kid stares at you from the other side. “I am so confused right now!” His brow furrows with concentration. “Anyways, I'm gonna go follow the girl. Bye!” He goes running off before you can tell him to stay away from Charice.
The memories of unprovoked murder claw at the edge of your consciousness. Your heart feels heavy from all the agony you let Charice cause. You start crying as you walk back into the mirror maze. Footsteps sound down the halls and you force yourself to be quiet.

Read the prologue, chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3, chapter 4, chapter 5, and chapter 6 first!
Asrielocky’s claws mimic roots by digging into the earthy ground. The mutant flower dragon is unrealistically terrifying. Your problems seem so much simpler if you personify them into this terrible being. You're filled with determination.
“Your stupid save file won't save you now.” Save file? What save file? “I'll kill you over and over, and you won't be able to do anything.”
You run at him, burying and fear you have. Asrielocky laughs at your futile attempt. He snatches you in his claws and crushes your rib cage. You feel you grip on this world slipping. The world begins to fade, but you don't want to die! You have to stay alive and save this world! You can't die this way. You try to summon any power you have to go back.
You feel time rushing past you, like wind blowing in your face. The darkness of death lifts, and suddenly, you're back in front of Asrielocky.
“Back again? I'll just have to keep killing you, not that I mind.” The white flower-dragon face contorts with a warped sense of glee. This time, you try to move to the side and then run at him. He dips down to bite you, and you find yourself facing death once again. You go back, over and over, becoming slightly discouraged by the repetition.
On your ninth time of returning, you notice the cold that had been pressing against your thigh. You reach inside one of the dress pockets and your hand curls around a knife handle. You pull it out. The knife has some strange dust on it. Happy that you actually have a chance at fighting Asrielocky, you run at him. Before he can dodge, you stab the blade into his snout. Flowey lets out an enraged roar, backing up with his root-like feet. His snout starts to bleed. You charge at him again and slice at his chest. It rips open and blood is released.
Here's the official design of Asrielocky! This is what he would look like in white light, even though he only shows up in the black light. He's really just a mash of the Jabberwocky and Flowey. In a profile view of his head, his upper mouth looks just like Flowey's creepy face. His claws act as roots in the ground, but he can move them.
