@alis-valot-propriis liked for an underground fighter starter.
Deshi wasn't sure how he got into this underground world. He had always been a fighter from the time he was young and after he had been left with Yua, his fighting only got better. It just so happened that after a certain bar fight with some drunk supernatural creature, he was approached to fight for some money. At first it was just a couple fights to make some extra cash but now it was more for the thrill. He had stood toe-to-toe with more supernatural creatures than he thought were there and he enjoyed every minute of it. That was when he wasn't getting his ass kicked.
Kira had become his corner-man when she followed him after he snuck off for a fight and realized how ‘incompetent’ his previous one was. No matter the fight, Kira was always able to help him get the victory. It came in handy that they had their own language for her to tell him what to do without his competitor knowing their plan. Though, he would have rather kept his little sister from this dark world if he had the choice. He was pacing the locker room as he kept checking the time, cursing under his breath since Kira wasn't there yet. She always arrived an hour early to get him ready and scout the competition and she was already twenty minutes late. Sending off another text to her with frustration, he figured he wouldn't start really worrying until the last twenty minutes.
Kira cursed as she drove, hearing her phone go off once again as she glanced at the time. Chewing her bottom lip, she contemplated what she should do since she was supposed to be hanging out with Lydia. Forcing a wide smile, she cleared her throat and tightened her hands against the steering wheel for a moment before glancing at her friend. "So, I've told you about my brother Deshi, right? The one who does the fighting? I was supposed to be there to prep for the fight twenty minutes ago. How would you like to finally meet him?" She smiled nervously and hoped Lydia would agree to go so she could just go there now instead of waiting.
