Gothic 1 Remake reimagines the cult-classic RPG with modern visuals, enhanced combat, and expanded world-building while staying faithful to the dark atmosphere and freedom that made the original so beloved. Players enter the brutal mining colony of Khorinis, a lawless prison surrounded by a magical barrier where criminals, mercenaries, and fanatics battle for survival. As an unnamed prisoner thrown into this harsh world, every choice you make influences your alliances, reputation, and path through a deeply reactive narrative filled with danger and political tension.

The remake modernises exploration and combat while preserving the original’s immersive RPG systems and unforgiving world design. Players can join rival factions, master melee and ranged combat, develop magical abilities, and uncover hidden secrets scattered throughout the colony. With improved visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5, expanded character interactions, and a richer recreation of the iconic setting, Gothic 1 Remake delivers a modern take on one of the most influential RPGs of its era.
