You guys ever like...

You're in a fandom, there's a fuck-ton of characters, but the problem is that. As more characters come in, sooner or later your faves will eventually become irrelevant (and probably forgotten by the fandom).

But instead of just abandoning them, you just kinda decide "Well, if no one's gonna be caring about them for a while, might as well just take them as my own."

Like, either you ship two characters who've been lost to relevancy or develop your blorbo(s) that's been sitting the the canon dust for a long while.

This pink floral gown has been seen quite a few times over the years. It was first spotted in a 1996 adaptation of Jane Eyre, where it was worn by an extra. In 1997 it was in yet another adaptation of Jane Eyre, where it appeared on Abigail Cruttenden as Blanche Ingram. In 2000 it was seen on Julie Walters as Princess Zasyekin in All Forgotten, and in 2003 on Flora Montgomery as Jenny Lind in Hans Christian Anderson: My Life as a Fairy Tale. In 2005 it was used on an extra in the mini-series Bleak House, and in 2007 it was worn by Lisa Dillon as Mary Smith in Cranford. More recently in 2016 it was worn by Antonia Bernath as Sally Compeyson in the television show Dickensian, and in 2020 it made its most recent appearance in Belgravia, where it was worn by Naomi Frederick as Duchess of Bedford.

Same!  Season 8 had a lot of potential and it was like the writers just went “HA! PSYCH!”.

This pretty blue dress has been used at least five times over the years. It was designed for the 1981 film The French Lieutenant's Woman, where it was worn on Lynsey Baxter as Ernestina. In 1999 it was seen on Amelia Bullmore as Eileen Sopwirth in Tilly Trotter. In 2000 it was seen in All Forgotten on an extra, and in 2000 it was used in David Copperfield on Julie Cox as Dora Spenlow. In 2004 it was worn by Emma Ferguson as Edith Lennox in the 2004 mini-series North & South.
