There are literally so many mass shootings in the US that I can’t keep them straight. I just saw a headline about 6 people being killed in a Walmart in Virginia and thought “Wasn’t that last week?” No, it turns out I was thinking of the shooting that killed three football players at the University of Virginia last week. And of course there was the Club Q shooting 4 days ago.
#how long is this going to go on?#how many people have to die?#why don’t we just get rid of guns?#all guns#no one needs guns#sorry for the dark post I just hate that this happens and we can’t do anything about it#and the government won’t regulate it#anytime I go somewhere I scope out the nearest exit#it’s instinct at this point#that can’t be normal#but it is under these conditions I think#people get randomly shot where I live quite a lot though#when I go out somewhere I have to plan my route home so that I have the least likely change of being shot in my car#because that just happens#i live in a very dangerous city#and there are lots of gun-related deaths already#hearing about mass shootings every day makes me even more paranoid
