1. Ever After: A Cinderella Story (1998)

Obvious classic, literally a Cinderella retelling but the best one that exists. I am aware that it is already Highly Rated, but NOT highly enough. If you haven't seen it, please sign up for: amazing beautiful costuming, beautiful woman (Drew Barrymore) being amazing and smart, a delightful platonic male bff who is under appreciated even amongst the fans of the film (huge shoutout to Gustave), and also Da Vinci is there. Yes, that Da Vinci. Also the romance is good.

2. August Rush

A long-time favorite of mine that I NEVER see mentioned. Few people I know have heard of it, and that's a tragedy. If you haven't seen it, please sign up for: amazing beautiful soundtrack, found family (in more ways than one), directed by a woman!, baby Freddie Highmore if you like him, an Irish accent that has become my primary stim before and will again, and Robin Williams (RIP king) as a morally gray antagonist. He does a beautiful job and I rarely see him in roles this nuanced and where he's not playing a protagonist or hero of some sort.

3. This Beautiful Fantastic

This one is newer to me! Shoutout my mother-in-law for introducing me to it, it's really lovely and I would like to see it again several more times. If you haven't seen it, please sign up for: female lead with (from my limited knowledge) inoffensive portrayal of OCD / other stuff as well, WHIMSY and really fun costuming that subtly reminds you this is a fairy tale, found family AGAIN, a steampunk-esque inventor, and of course, Andrew Vernon (of Moriarty fame) as a lovely Irish single father and cook who is very charming (also shoutout to this film for having them speak Gaelic some!).

I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about this before but I got into wrestling through an accidental click on a dean ambrose tag and not long after that I found myself on @everafter-in-neverland blog, clicking the message button might have been one of the best choices I’d made last year, because not only did I gain a good friend but my 6 months of writers block left. So @everafter-in-neverland is the positive impact, they’ve helped me and given me advice and just been there for me.

I just checked with my dad. He read me the Hobbit when I was 4 and then started LOTR straight after... I went to school knowing more about Gandalf than God and got in trouble for it. (they asked me to draw God... Didn't know what they were banging on about so they described him... I drew a wizard. Good Times)

I can see The Queue from my kitchen window. Not much, just a glimpse through the trees.

That Queue. The Queue. The one that takes 24 hours. That’s five miles long - although that means nothing to me as I’m metric.

That makes even rich famous footballers line up for hours and hours.

They’ve closed roads for The Queue. The Queue is lined with police officers and events staff. Ice cream trucks, hot tea/coffee stands, water stands have set themselves up along The Queue. The Queue has governance and developed an economy.

I saw a frail old man in formal clothes with a walking stick heading in the direction of the river this morning and I hoped he wasn’t joining The Queue.

At the self service checkouts at my local supermarket - the supermarket closest to the start of The Queue - the elderly lady next to me was buying three mars bars and I hoped she wasn’t joining The Queue.

I’m feeling FOMO about The Queue. Walking past the queue I wonder, ‘should I be in The Queue?’ Does The Queue have this draw for everyone? Or just those filling voids in their lives with stories and experiences.

The Queue ends of course. But is The Queue about the end anymore? I think now The Queue is just about being in The Queue. The Queue itself is the historical event. The country I live in is going nuts and maybe I am too but it’s hard to avoid the pull of The Queue.

Me and my sister just watched through In Space with Markiplier part 2 and it's such an enjoyable time. It feels like it was made with so much care. He included so many references to every other part of the universe he's created, including Jim! Jim!!! A bit from Who Killed Markiplier I had completely forgotten about and we started screaming in pure joy at his inclusion. My heart damn near exploded when Yancy showed up. Heehoo was included and if you didn't watch Unus Annus you have no idea who that is. The romance option out right references A Date with Markiplier as happening before it. We cheered at the inclusion of the "It was me all along" bit. References aside even, I loved all the new characters, Wug especially. The ending was so good and Mark does such a good job acting it. Cici, Gunther, and Burt (who is my sister's favorite) are all fantastic! Lady and her arc was phenomenal. Also making her Lady D in the noir bit was so good. This was so much fun to walk through and I can't wait for whatever is next. Thank you for a wonderful time Mark, and here's to many, many more!
