Sometimes there was a ringing in Pelorus' head as if the gods were begging to be let in again. As much as he had loved the idea of it before, that just wasn't going to be something he strived for now. Not anymore. No, he preferred how he was now. Or how he had been at least. Honestly, time was always so finicky, he really wasn't sure who he was supposed to be right now. All he knew for sure? He was tired as all hell. The gods had played around in his body while he watched and not being his own person was just too much. They had really made him work for all those years when he thought he would just be able to lounge about with absolutely no consequences. It would've been his ideal, but he guessed he couldn't really get what he wanted all the time. Not that he ever did really. He let out a sigh as he looked at the blank walls around his apartment. She had mentioned a solid coat of paint before. Maybe it was time to make some changes. "I'm thinking of plastering and actually painting the walls. Maybe I'll put up some art, too. Any recommendations."
closed starter for @springlia location: pelorus’ place note: wink wonk
The place he currently found himself residing in was good enough to him for now. It certainly was not what he was used to, but he couldn’t exactly be picky when it came to that sort of thing now. He had been asleep for far too long and the times of him ruling Thebes were very far in the past. He could not bother to figure out how the place fared now and he didn’t truly know if he would ever actually go to figure it out. It had once been home before the conflicts of those around him had pulled him towards war that he had no interest in. Now, his place was in Rome helping his siblings figure out what their first move would be. They had no real time to situate themselves, but Pelorus was not going to waste all of his time with something so boring. Thankfully, Lia was worthy enough to keep him company for the time being. She also made great pastries so her presence was more wanted than he cared to admit. Even if they weren’t talking. There were many things they could do together and, if she was interested, he certainly didn’t mind appeasing her. His head turned towards her as he let out a breath. “Baking is quite a choice for an eladrin. Why did you choose it?”
