devil in the details || alice & cash
The sights of Fairburn flashed past her as Alice floored the accelerator and sped towards Outlaw. She was done with sitting around at home. Reckon was out there somewhere and none of them had any idea where. How everything had managed to go to hell in the span of only a few days, she had no idea. Well, okay technically she knew the how, but the reason for the how still eluded her. Something about the other Foxfire encroaching on their territory, which was supposedly the worst thing in the world, according to the rest of the Jezebels. They hadn’t exactly come out and said it, but it had to be if they thought setting a bomb off and kidnapping one of the other foxes was necessary.
While technically none of them were meant to go anywhere alone, Alice figured she’d be fine for the next few minutes until she met up with Cash at Outlaw. In a fight she’d go down easy, but god help anyone that tried to go after her while she was behind the wheel of a car. If they lived long enough, they’d spend the rest of their lives regretting it.
Pulling up outside of Outlaw, it took Alice all of a second to decide to wait outside of her car, rather than in it. That decision was only further validated when her eyes were immediately drawn to the unmistakable sight of Reckon’s car, just sitting there in the Outlaw parking lot. To check it out or wait for Cash to show up, that was the question. But Alice was already out of her car and out in the open. Surely it couldn’t hurt to just cross the parking lot and check it out. And with that in mind, she pulled out the tool roll she kept hidden away under the passenger seat, and headed towards Reckon’s 68′ Mustang Fastback.
