I didn't see Grease or Dirty Dancing until 2 years ago, and that was because my roommate made me watch them. They were pretty good.

I don't eat meat, I don't like beer, I hate football, and I mostly only tolerate country music (though there are exceptions). And yet, Texas never kicked me out, even though...

I grew up in Texas. I know how to lasso, but that's only because when I lived in Ohio a guy from Montana showed me how to do it.

Some stubborn streak in me refuses to do something because everyone else is doing it. Which means I've never: read Twilight, joined Pinterest, finished the Harry Potter books (that same bossy roommate made me start reading them 4 years ago, and it took me a year to read 6 1/2 books--I still haven't finished the 7th one. It's just too sad!), gotten a Twitter account, or seen Titanic--although that has more to do with the fact that when the ship breaks in half and swings up toward the sky as it starts to sink, it looks like a whale, and I'm a afraid of whales (there'a bonus share).

Jim Halpert was the first tv character I fell in love with.

Emily Dickinson would definitely be one of my "5 people at your dream dinner party," but I'm afraid I'd spend the whole night worrying that she was uncomfortable and just wanted to go back to her room. Would this ruin the dinner? This is why I don't plan parties.
