What do you think peters virtues are? I could see it if we're talking about younger Peter helping Derek with control but adult Peter is a complete jackass. (That's not to say that I blame him, I can't imagine being trapped in your own body like that)

Peter is in his essence a jack ass. From Derek’s flashbacks, and in the ep he was telling Stiles Derek’s story with Paige we can see it. He is kind of twisted since the beginning.

When I answered that I wasn't thinking about the villains, but because you asked I can come with a few things about him

Peter is smart, resourceful [ even if not trustworthy], he is a unesgotable source of knowledge, and he is a great strategist. He knows that knowledge is power and that those damned kids don’t know shit, so he use it at his favor.

He’s a snake, yeah, but everyone in one moment or the other in that show, needed him because of something he knew and they not.

You got to respect that about him at least.

Unfortunately most people don't talk about racism. When it does come up in the media it's usually a joke about "playing the race card". In the past I've used the phrase "reverse racism" because I thought I knew what it meant. Now I understand that it's the system being against you that makes it racism. I know you can't be racist against a white person. It never occurred to me to look up the definition of the word because I thought I understood it. Everyone should learn it in history classes.

I couldn't agree with this more. Characters and people in general are more relatable if they have flaws. I respect someone a lot more if they can admit their flaws. A character who always wins or does the right thing is boring and unrealistic.
