To some, #samhain and #allhallowseve is regarded as a new year- an opening in the portal from one cycle to the other. ✨ For me, it seems like the passage way to remembering deeply and letting it fall, in the same way the trees go through the process of burning brightly and falling away. Being an air sign, I've spent the last few weeks drowning with the Moon in Pisces- just hoping for a break in the waves or for a sign of relief... And it feels like it's so close. Almost touchable. On the cusp to the new beginning. I've spent so much time just trying to find my feet, to find myself again in this chaos. So when, during this glorious shoot with @sarahann_photography, I pulled these cards of past/present/future, it was an AHA. The whoosh of air. The water retreating from my shore. --- Nine of Wands: arriving at the final stretch, a few steps and all is behind me. --- Daughter of Wands: the cusp of a breakthrough or spiritual transformation --- Ace of Pentacles: a new beginning and a movement forward. #magic Like an embrace from the Universe, saying, "Yep, you did it, kid. You made it through this season in your death/rebirth year. Here, here. Here you can burn brightly, here you can let go. And go again. And so it is." So, for this #samhain, I at least bow to where I've been these past two months. That I've learned. That I've cried. That I've dig deeper. And that I continue to explore the woman inside of me.
