To help motivate myself and get back into writing regularly again, I am considering starting up a WIP ask game (in a somewhat similar vein to @stabbyfoxandrew's WIP Wednesday).

Name is still TBD but I am thinking of calling it Snippet Sunday. Essentially, I would choose 5 WIPs to be on the roster of options. People could then submit via ask one (1) of these WIPs that they would like me to write for that week. Asks would open on Monday, and then I would answer them the following Sunday with a 500-ish word snippet of that WIP. Asks would be capped at 10 per week and will be answered in the order that they are received. Asks would also be limited to one per person each week. If any additional asks slip in before I close my inbox, they will be rolled over into the following week. I am still debating if I truly want to take this on (or if there would even be interest 😅) but it seems like a good way to force myself to be accountable (and also to finally get masterposts for my WIPs established).

OKAY, so I just learned about the Ichirou and Allison shenanigans, and have many thoughts. But mostly, I'm just thinking about how if it were to happen, then Kevin, Neil, and Jean can get away with anything and Ichirou won't do shit because they're his girlfriend's friends.

Ichirou: "That's it! They've undermined my authority for the last time! I will get rid of th - "

Allison: "Babe."

Ichirou: "...eir attitudes with a strongly worded email. Again."

So you know how one of Nora’s favorite rare pairs is Ichirou/Allison? My little hamster brain has been turning that over in the background for weeks trying to make a plausible connection between the two outside of, you know, the Neil connection.

Anyway. It’s been a while since I’ve read the books but from what I remember, Allison comes from money. Like, in the billions type of money. And you don’t become a billionaire without blood on your hands. So it’s an easy connection that the Reynolds family may have had dealings with the Moriyama family. It’s simple business, you know? Nothing illegal unless there’s proof.

Think of all the dinner parties where all the important someones attend. It’s an easy way for two heirs of business empires to meet. Shuffled along with their parents to watch and to learn how things are done.

Maybe in one universe they are in an arranged marriage. Maybe in another, they are childhood friends who lose touch when Allison gets disinherited and they connect again finally shortly after Ichirou takes care of Riko.

There are so many possibilities and their dynamic has so much potential.

Ahhhh, Allichi.... my beloved crackship ❤️ my favorite delusional pairing... they never meet in canon but if they did, the sheer amount of cunt being served in that room would break records. I have sooooo many thoughts about these two (if you can't tell)

They're the kind of pairing that could either be a power couple who take over the world together... or the most unhealthy, toxic & messy affair you've ever heard of. They are either deeply in love and in perfectly in sync, or they are purely hatefucking and using each other as a means to an end.

They have the power to both make each other infinitely worse and infinitely better. When Allichi gets together, fate flips a coin on what the outcome will be - but either one is delicious.

Okay, look. I know there are many, many allichi skeptics out there. Believe me, I get it. I was one of you, once, before Nora infected my brain. If it's not your jam, it's not your jam, and that's totally fine!!

BUT!!!

If you like cheesy mafia romance novellas... If you like casual fling to lovers to enemies, to will they/wont they and then back to lovers.... if you like drama and violence and psychological thrillers... if you like trauma bonding and hidden depths and breaking generational curses... then you will LOVE allichi. And you might also love this fic!!
