Hi. i wanted to attempt to present a alternate aroallo/alloaro flag design…. so here it is!
while i was happy to see an alloaro flag, i was inspired by the color choice behind the aroace flag, which deviated from existing aro and ace flag colors, because the identity itself should be seen as something of its own and not always an extension of an already existing community, when it can feel very different. existing alloaro flags pull from existing flag colors, using the green. the colors on my flag being dominantly red and blue is taken as triadic to them, is green. i feel like these vibrant, warm colors feel nice to use to make the identity and flag feel like something of your own.
Dark blue - for the understanding and variation of experiences an alloaro person may have with the label. it is to be open to how one may live using this label, as things will always be uniquely you. A deep, comforting blue that holds you.
Light blue - is for the lack/absence of romantic attraction, in a light shade not unlike the aromantic flag’s light green stripe. simply focused on the lacking attraction, as that is what it means to be aromantic.
Light yellow - for community and diversity, no matter how you see yourself in this label. A light middle stripe that brings your attention to it, because we exist all exist in many ways and so do our experiences.
orange - for all the varieties of relationships that come with your expression of aromanticism and allosexuality. platonic, sexual, etc. Whether or not you want all of those, or you want none of those, or only some… it is something you experience as an alloaro.
Red - for your expression of your allosexuality. this color is bold and proud, as to not feel ashamed for the allosexuality you hold.
below the cut are icon size, and a half icon edit for putting next to another flag.
