Unbelievable || The Doctor and JT
Not for one second had he regretted anything about choosing to holiday in London. After finishing his third year of college, and following the messy breakdown of a five-year relationship, JT realised that a couple of months away from those he knew, away from his busy life home in Toronto, was exactly what he needed. The freedom of being able to walk the streets with nobody knowing his name or his story was both a comfort and a luxury. He knew that he wouldn't accidentally bump into anybody he knew. That was, aside from his his ex-girlfriend-turned-supermodel Mia Jones, who now resided in Paris, but JT liked to think that the chances of catching her on an off day, and simultaneously getting past her entourage by accident, were far too slim to consider.
So far, summer in London had been incredibly good to him. The weather was rather pleasant, and it didn't rain all too much more than it did back home. He had met a number of interesting young people at the travellers' hostel where he stayed, many of whom were from different parts of Europe. JT indulged in doing everything a tourist typically did while in the city, and also ventured outside when he felt like a bit of quiet, or further exploration. On this particularly day, the aspiring actor was walking along the London High Street, searching for a new pair of sneakers after the ones he was wearing appeared to be on their last legs.
He was being extremely observant as he walked, not having memorised the appearance of where he wished to go. The first time he saw something peculiar, JT paid it no mind, assuming it to be a sight he'd imagined, or a bird soaring past in his periphery. That was, until it happened again. The young man stopped in his tracks, curiously furrowing his brow to see if anyone - or anything - was making a habit of dashing through the High Street. Nobody else seemed to notice, and he couldn't help but wonder if he himself appeared strange, fixated on something that didn't exist.
