I think a lot of people are forgetting about this, but the main reason that all these Fox shows are getting canceled is because Disney bought them out. They don't want to renegotiate contracts/they want the channel to be restarted on their terms. Ratings wouldn't matter...if Disney wanted their own shows, they were screwed either way. 😔

And that, kiddos, is yet another reason why massive conglomerates/total market monopolies/companies that own probably a solid 25-50% of all entertainment (or whatever other product) that you consume on a daily basis are Bad.

(Disney. You HAVE like... a bunch of fucken other channels. Including one called THE DISNEY CHANNEL. Not that this matters. But. I’m just saying.)

Exactly I’m not even against a baby I just wish they hadn’t been dating only a month???? Give me a full solid season of Leotilda falling in love, give me devotion between them and a sureness they are meant to be together, and THEN give them a baby. They haven’t even said the words “I love you” yet to each other. It’s too soon!

Exactly!! On one hand this is my least favorite trope and I can’t believe the writers would give Leo and Mattie, two of their main characters and two genius hackers, this dumbass plot when they could have done so much more. It’s such a WASTE.

On the other hand, I thought the secret was something negative and might even be a betrayal on Mattie’s part, which is what triggers him to leave in episode 7. But this secret would only bring them closer together and I really cannot see them breaking up now.

So I’m stuck in this murky gray of “I really hate this but it could’ve been worse”. I mean, what’s done is done and there’s no going back. So all we can hope for is the writers do this justice and do THEM justice and write it well. 

The reason I didn’t want this to happen is Leotilda are such a NEW couple. They’ve barely had a chance to fall in love and now this shit happens?? How are they supposed to focus on each other when now they have a third wheel to deal with.

OH THANK YOU as funny as I thought that was I was also horrified at the prospect of Leo trying to totally live a normal functional human lifestyle. It’s not for him. lol

Tbh it's probably a bit of everything BUT jyatt being loud is the thing that's right in her face

I agree that it should be about everything yet the dialogue in the clip states that the bottle is there because of Wyatt/Jessica. If the episode leaves it like that and doesn’t have Lucy say that it isn’t just about Wyatt then I’m going to be extremely disappointed. In general, it’s a pet peeve of mine when fiction writers have a character’s emotional journey depend on ONE relationship instead of the host of interpersonal relationships that people need to grow & change.

Lucy’s emotional journey should be about more than just her romantic life. A romantic relationship at this point should only be additional to Lucy’s main story arc. Not overtake it.
