It was cold and frosty this morning, a fresh new year, very fresh indeed. My early morning routine is pretty much the same each day, I let the chickens out of the coops and fill up their feeders, o…
This years first crop of butternut squashes have now been fully consumed. From a fews seeds there were 12 squashes and after a few donations to others, the rest were packed away into storage. . A few weeks of soups, butternut squash risotto and roasted squash, out stocks have been depleted. Sad times as I didn't plan we for the winter and the only veg to come from the plot now are brussel sprouts 😂 . Any suggestions of squashes to grow next year??? . #Butternutsquash #squashes #freshgrownfood #growingyourownfood #allotmentblog#allotmenteersofinstagram #vegpatch #theediblegarden #vegetablegarden #kitchengarden #grownfromseed #seeds #growyourown (at Pampisford Road Allotments) https://www.instagram.com/p/CI6iof3gEYX/?igshid=1daxe50bxipn
