Checked on the carrots and thinned one to see how far along they are. They've got a while yet.😅🤣

Looks like a cosmic purple. What I can tell you is that

since it was already planted when we had some frosts

come through it was already very sweet, even as small

as it is.

I was hoping by may I'd be eating carrots but looks

more like august 💀

Hibiscus coccineus is a total "power" plant. Hard to miss, even in a jungle garden. Lots of green and then BAM! A non-gardening friend ripped it up in spring last year, thinking it was a weed, but it just came back bigger this year.
