It's this time of the year again!
First of all we want to apologize for the late notice of this project. We've been very busy with real life and personal family issues but we cannot neglect our birthday boy's special day! We hope you Jewels will still participate in our project and help us continue our tradition of supporting the needy in Eunhyuk's name.
For this year, we decided to celebrate Hyukjae’s birthday by supporting the charity KAESKWELA.
KaEskwela is a non-stock, non-profit organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to helping public schoolchildren attain quality education, which will eventually help them lead better lives. Kaeskwela has been around since April (Eunhyuk's birthday month!) 2007 and seek to empower schools by liasing with school officials to find out their needs and rounding up support to ensure these needs are met.
Kaeskwela have helped more than 20 schools in Pampanga, Laguna, Aklan, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Montalban, Marikina, Bataan.
BUILDING A LIBRARY FOR DEL CARMEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, PAMPANGA
After discussing with Kaeskwela, we decided to listen to the request of Del Carmen Elementary School in Pampanga for assistance in building the school's first library. We will be assisting not just in providing books but also decorating, providing shelves, etc. Libraries are usually the least of a school budget's concern and only a handful of schools in the Philippines have libraries. We hope to help Del Carmen Elementary build a foundation of knowledge for all the children in their school!
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
You can participate by donating in kind! We really prefer donations in kind over monetary donations, with the exception for furniture requests like tables and chairs.
Here are the required items that you can donate in kind:
Books: storybooks, reference books and textbooks for grade school and high school. We do not accept books for college/ post-grad / adults. Please refrain from giving books that have torn or missing pages; books that were damaged during floods or termite infestations; and books with exercises that have already been answered.
Globes and maps (Philippines and World)
library cards and borrowers' cards
educational posters (mounted)
SRA kit
For those donating books, the school requested for the following:
Dictionaries (- English, Filipino, Filipino-English, English-Filipino)
Thesaurus
Children’s Encyclopedias (recent editions)
Maps (World & Philippines)

TIME Almanac for Kids
Science experiments for kids
Fact books on nature, environment, & human body
books on Philippine, Asian and World history for grade school
Math exercise books
Aesop’s Fables
Adarna storybooks – they come in Filipino, with English translation
Lampara storybooks – also in Filipino and translated to English
We will also need cash donations to purchase the following:

4 fluorescent lights 40w
chairs
HOW DO I GIVE YOU MY DONATIONS?
Due to limitations in resources, all donations in kind have to be delivered in their drop-off point. AllRisePH Admins will have meet-ups on March 23 & 30 in SM Megamall (BLENZ COFFEE, SM MEGAMALL ATRIUM) to pick-up and gather donations.

27 Trees for Eunhyuk's 27th Birthday Project: Leaving a Lasting Legacy
One time as I read a book, a certain author wrote this: "If you want to leave a legacy in this world, you have to do these: 1) Plant a tree; 2) Write a book; and 3) Have a child."
And one of the things mentioned above was accomplished by the Philippine ELF, headed by ALLRISEPH, that is to plant 27 trees for Eunhyuk's birthday.
In celebration of Eunhyuk's 27th birthday, the fans donated 27 trees under his name. It is decided to have 27 trees because it is based on Eunhyuk's Korean age. I commend the fans for doing this project because aside of having a unique way of celebrating his birthday, this is not just mere fun/partying or random waste of money just for their idol. They're doing this for a cause... the fans promoted the advocacy for a better environment and at the same time giving a lasting gift for Super Junior's Eunhyuk.
A tree is a symbol of life, and may these 27 trees wish a fruitful life for Eunhyuk.
I hope someday if Eunhyuk will learn about this, he will visit these trees and be proud that somehow because of his influence to his fans, he's able to do something noble in his lifetime. These trees could live hundreds of years, and so his name will.
