My my, how the days pass, don't they? So impossibly slow and almost to an unforgivable extent. Everett supposes, though, that it's his fault that they're passing that way. The pack of cigarette he smokes in a week he feels like he's burnt down in a day. Every task that comes into his hands and that he completes feels like one giant one that he'll never get around to finishing.
He won't say that he's looking for a cure to this insufferable plight, but any ailment would do in a pinch.
This is his quick fix. A couple of strangers will do. "Any specific reason you've come t'me or... Are y'jus' lookin' t'chat or what?"
