RIGHT???? I literally arrived in new york on a bus, got off the subway (at the wrong stop, nice going me) and five minutes later I saw a beam of light shining down on a beautiful golden boy.

Lol nah I’m just kidding but he was really gorgeous? I’ve kinda deluded myself into believing famous people aren’t “real” which is one of the reasons I didn’t go up to talk to him. (Also, this is one of the reasons I wanna avoid meeting famous people in general. I know they’re actual people but I wanna keep the fantasy alive :P) He was also, like, surrounded by friends and in the middle of a conversation so I didn’t wanna interrupt. 

I did almost have a small heart attack though, so there’s that hehe

I need to know the entire story of this Indiana Jones professor. It's like a dream come true omg

Oh if only, Darling, if only he’d given me more than an A+!  

I was majoring in Communications (to placate my father, who wouldn’t allow me to major in Theatre) and the prof. was the Dept. Chair.  Hot, late summer day, there he was in the Indiana Jones style jacket, and even the occasional 3-pc suit.  And the glasses, oh my my.  I suppose he was 40ish, but then when you’re 18, that’s a whole lifetime more than you are. Did I sit in class like those girls in the first Indy movie, leaning on my hands gazing, on him?  You bet your sweet ass.  I can’t rightly say now if i was the only one.

He laid down the gauntlet first day of class—”I don’t give any A’s”.  So of course, that became my goal.  Wrote one helluva term paper too, which I think was the thing which forced his hand.  I’m sure I’ve got the paper tucked away somewhere, with his red notations on it and the big A+.  A girl needs to cherish those treasures when they come her way.

Sadly though, it was my only course with him.  I transferred the next year to study Theatre at a state college where my best friends were.  Wish I could remember his name—he was my first “adult” crush.

Whatever the case, I know you’re getting ready for the college adventure—so just keep your head about you, because I’m sure I know that they are not all the sort of gentleman my professor was.  And that’s a story for another day…

Naroé  do you have any fears? ladybugs, it’s not even a really interesting story we just had an infestation when i was younger and I developed a phobia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ where are you from? Lima, Peru first career you wanted as a child: I wanted to be a fairy princess but barring that I would’ve settled for veterinarian what’s your sign? Scorpio future names of your children: No idea! Probably something weird that will cause them to get beat up on the playground. Scratch that, definitely something weird that will cause them to get beat up on the playground. what are you listening to right now? Hozier. I’ve had his album on repeat for weeks send help do you believe in fate/destiny? I don’t know if I would call it fate/destiny but something like that? I definitely don’t believe in coincidences but I also believe we have full responsibility over the choices we make. If fate does guide our lives, it doesn’t mean we can divine its intensions, just do our best, keep learning and push on. what are your career goals? Working with developing countries, most likely Peru. Maybe exploring the film scene there and helping with some kinda social enterprise. what is your favourite colour? white, but it changes frequently what is your favourite flower? Flowers aren’t my thing. I really like trees though! Especially bonzai trees and baobabs what was the first concert/show you attended? A free Laura Pausini concert at the Kennedy Center with my mom when I was a lot younger. I totally forgot about that what a nice memory :) something you are working on right now? A project proposal for an ethnographic film I have to shoot over the summer! have you ever had a near-death experience? I’ve been in quite a few car accidents of varying severity, if that counts! left or right handed? righty tighty (insert mildly inappropriate masturbation joke) tv shows you watch regularly: Supernatural, Parks and Rec, Buffy, and I am always always always rewatching The Office. Though the line-up changes quite frequently so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ last movie you watched? 10 Inch Hero, super cute with a breakfast club-esque vibe and it messed with gender roles within tropes in a cool way too

They actually belong to my friend, Yana, and I just kinda mess with them whenever I'm at her place. I asked her and she told me the brand name is magnetic poetry. I think you should be able to google that and see where it's sold! :)
