What’s a pict design? Just curious.

the Picts were a Celtic tribe in Scotland that were famous for tattooing and facepaint. the name Pict comes from the Latin 'picti' which was used to mean 'painted/tattooed people,' so they would be the go-to inspiration for 'celtic tribal' tattoo designs

however most 'tribal' tattoo designs take their inspiration from Polynesian or Native American cultures, not the Celts. so when people use the defense 'well tribal could also refer to Celts and not just nonEuropean cultures!!!!' it doesn't really hold up bc that........... is clearly not their tattooing inspiration..................... like if you want to use Pict designs look them up for inspiration???? dude
