Now this was a bit embarrassing this was not how Sadie planned on meeting her current boyfriends kid, hell, she didn’t even plan to meet them at all. Considering she was more than half younger than their father and probably in the same age range at them, and she was nervous of judgement. But standing here now in just an oversized shirt that belonged to her boyfriend, she can feel the judgement. “Erm, hi. I’m – Sadie. Your dads — friend.”
Well, this was unexpected.
Murphy would usually sneak into his Old Man’s place for a bite to eat whenever he was back in town. But he was usually greeted by said Old Man. Not a stunning blonde in one of his shirts. Still, the surprised didn’t stop Murph. Oh no. The younger Morrissey continued chewing the mouthful of cereal. Afterall, everyone knows cereal gets wet when it’s soggy..
“Isn’t he a little old for sleep-overs?” Mother fucker. That salty old dog. As his pale blue gaze ran up and down her frame Murphy made a mental note to give his father his due props when the appropriate time came. He dropped the spoon into the bowl of cereal, instead reaching for the kettle that sat on the bench beside him. “Tea?”
