how should you even spell magolor in swedish (and by extension most languages closely related)
so obviously the base version that this would go off of is the pronunciation of Magolor in english which is like "mag-uh-lore" (japanese/korean/chinese versions that go something like 'mahoroa' aren't involved, and I feel like swedish is WAY closer to english than japanese). There's also German translations of Nintendo Games which pronounce his name as Mägolor, using the 'ä' / a with umlaut to represent the English sound better since in German the a sounds like the 'ɔ' (ipa) in English 'dog' or 'lawn'. However I feel like it SHOULD be spelled Mägölor? The German (and swedish/finnish etc) ö is not the same as the 'uh' or 'ə' (also ipa) in that second syllable, but it's a LOT closer than o. try listening to someone say 'öl' (beer) and 'och' (and) [this is like, day 1 duolingo stuff]. SO TLDR: especially if ur german/swedish/finnish/maybe even norwegian/danish etc; does Mägolor or Mägölor make more sense? Or should it just be Magolor or even Mahoroa, preserving the spelling over pronunciation?
