We finally watched Ave Mujica last week and holy fuck that was great! Insane tone shift from MyGo!!!!! but so amazing!! Mutsumi my beloved, biting Mortis (affectionate) so hard. I ordered merch which will probably arrive in the summer, including the Mortis doll. I love my sillygoofy, she's been added to the pile of blorbos already.

As an autistic adult, I find that I sincerely miss creative play. I used to have a lot of fun setting up scenes for my toys, making decorations and props myself to fill in gaps, and making the scenes in my mind come to life. So I got curious, decided to see if there are any recommendations online for doing this sort of thing as an adult in a way that supports my therapy goals. I forgot that we live in a Society.

Every result is the same normative shit. Video games, yoga, tabletop games with friends, colouring books, art museums. Just grow up and do normal adult things. I get that people want to be treated the same as everyone else, but why should masking extend into self-regulating activities? Do not play with your toys, they're collectibles now, simply display them. If you want to make things you need to do it in a proper artistic way. All play should be done within the confines of a video game where it is socially acceptable to do so.

I want to take care of my inner child, I want to feel comfortable doing the things that used to bring me immense joy. Stop trying to convince me that playing Sims 4 will fill the hole that actual toys did! Those are pixels!!!

My first world problem of the month is that my employer fucked up in a way that results in me not getting paid until August 1st. Aside from being worried about food and bills, I was planning to purchase some CD's from Japan and now I have to kick those plans down the line even more :/ There's a really cool CD pack for Phantom Siita that I want and I also wanted to get Ave Mujica! This is very frustrating, but not the end of the world

I'm feeling insanely depressed today, maybe I should take some pictures of my Love Live merch to post on here. Just to feel something, ya know?

I started watching Moomins on YouTube last week as like background noise to my workday, but fuck this show is better than it has any right to be.

There's a little girl named Minnie who is invisible because of how horribly her aunt has treated her. She can't speak at first and you can only tell she's there by the silver bell that was tied around her neck. The only way to get her to reappear was spending weeks with the Moomins as a member of their family, being treated with love and kindness. It takes multiple episodes for her to reappear, all the while her small victories are celebrated as she begins to rematerialize from the feet up. It damn near made me cry to watch her story.

I felt like that as a kid, I still feel like that around my family. My family still acts as though I'm invisible, unless it's useful for them if I'm there.

This show just really hit me right in my inner child. Go watch an episode (or ten) so I'm not alone in feeling exposed.
