5.18 Kaddish
A touching episode seeing Munch’s childhood with a great soundtrack.
But the connection between Frank and Tim after what happened with Mary just shows how deep they are as partners. Beautiful.

4.16 Stakeout
An episode when we see the detectives all mingle and chat while on stakeout--soemething we don't see as much when they're in the squadr oom at a level like this.
Tim's confession. Meldrick's confusion. Frank and Gee. And how it all comes together.
6.13 Something Sacred, Part 2
Finding who killed a priest is a good deal for the Homicide detectives, with a golden opportunity to have the guys dress as priests.
I'll keep my Fleagbag thoughts and comments to myself
Also, the new side to Falsone helping Lewis on the down low was a nice touch for Paul's character development
Homicide: The Movie (2000)
Seeing so many characters back together again. Seeing what happened to them after they left in their respective years. This easily could’ve been added to the season 7 finale but the film was very well done and leaves you with typical HLOTS feelings. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll have all the feels. What an ending to such a phenomenal series.
3.16 Law and Disorder
Bayliss doesn’t get it yet. Someone got Pratt….but he’s a cop killer. Cops don’t care. Munch has a false alibi and has his own issues with an art gallery display. The others aren’t helping. And this is when Tim realizes…there are more subtle rules with cops
It’s also nice seeing Frank and Meldrick work together. Frank wants to start with the projects to see where a stray bullet came from for their victim and Meldrick questions why does he wanna start with the black neighborhood when it could’ve easily been a white one.
Good discussion about stuff that never gets mentioned on television
Also great use of Crucify by Tori Amos at the end. Fitting for Bayliss
6.17 Abduction
A red ball is out when a 4 year old boy goes missing. Teachers, other kids, neighbors are all asked and of course the very active dad seems to be a suspect. But is he?
Also Tim says he wants to have a family one day with kids. An adorable moment showing how much Frank still has to learn.
5.5 M.E., Myself and I
Enter: Juliana Cox. A strong woman who adds an exciting new dimension to the series as the new medical examiner. She comes across as no-nonsense and nothing gets to her, but we see another side of her when we see a glimpse of her home life.
Seeing the FBI questioning people in the box reminds me of when the squad was questioned in light of what happened with Crosetti. It makes you feel for Mike as his paranoia rises.
The storyline of Brodie trying to find a place to stay is light hearted, and this episode shines as we get to see a glimpse into Lewis’ personal life. Blaxploitation films, Dy-no-mite, and Teddy Pendergrass. What’s not to love?
5.22 Strangers and Other Partners
Gharty is back?! Isn’t he the coward? His speech to Frank shows another side to him as the Beau investigation heats up. And what do you mean the same guy was used?
Megan and Kay together was also beautiful to see and shows HLOTS can portray strong women together too.
And Mike and Juliana continue to be toxic. Why are they so good to watch yet so bad for you?
