who wakes the other one up with kisses ?
without question, evelyn wakes alexander up with kisses. though it’s only known to happen if she rises in the middle of the night, since she’ll sleep in until ten, where alex is always up before dawn.
who is the morning person/night person ?
eve is a night owl, and alex is a morning person, though after a few years of marriage, she definitely rises earlier.
who is the romantic one ?
while some may say evelyn is purely because she’s highly affectionate. it’s alex without question. nobody does grand romantic gestures like a balfour.
who is the more cuddly one ?
eve. but her main love language is physical touch so are we surprised ?
who cooks ?
neither. eve tries, and she can cook some dishes, but never very well. thankfully all that money means they have a chef.
their favourite place to be together ?
tacky, but, in public, though not in a sexual way. after having to hide behind closed doors for so long, it’s almost luxurious for them to be able to do something as simple as hold hands in public.
where did they go for their honeymoon ?
they didn’t go anywhere. alex had an important meeting the next day so they stayed in london.
where did they first meet ?
a charity gala for some issue or another. all of their friends would later tell them that it was an electric moment, them meeting, but they truly can’t remember much of it.
any kids ?
biologically evelyn & alexander’s: alexandrine bridget éstelle balfour & ambrose sacha éden balfour. biologically alexander’s ( with euphèmia mercier ): alistair frédéric étienne balfour & amélie sabrina élodie balfour.
any pets ?
a cat evelyn had before they got married, a 7 year old siamese named boots.
what do they fight over ?
mostly how hard alex works, while his work ethic is appreciated, his presence would be too. once the kids are off at school and eve begins working again most of their fight are over how often effie sees alistair and sabrina.
do they go on vacations, if so where ?
their main destination is probably some obscenely large villa alex got evelyn for an anniversary or birthday present in the bahamas or the maldives. though, honestly, i wouldn’t put it past him to buy an island like richard branson and make that their primary destination.
who kills the bugs ?
certainly not eve, so, by default, alex.
who hogs the sheets ?
alex, but eve tends to gravitate towards any source of warmth so even though he takes the blankets and sheets, she just clings to him.
who hates mornings ?
evelyn, without question.
who’s cranky before they had their coffee ?
both.
who doesn’t like their mother in law ?
eve. but considering her mother is long dead before alex even comes into her life and philippa balfour is a devout catholic who despises her son’s second wife, it’s justified.

alex. evelyn never learnt how to.
who is louder?
evelyn. her personality certainly doesn’t lend itself to being quiet, where alex is always infuriatingly calm.
do they fuck or make love ?
it’s an 85/15 ratio, and that’s after marriage. it was 97.5/2.5 before.
who has the most patience ?
alex, who must have the patience of a saint being married to, and producing little demon babies with, evelyn.
