Reason: They were literally so cute. 🥺🥺🥺 Alma showed Kanata kindness and understanding in her darkest moments, and wasn't afraid even when she feared herself. Their relationship was shaping up to be a very supportive and wholesome one, had it been able to develop further. Spoilers, but Kanata deserved better. I'm really holding out hope that some future-bs happens to bring her back somehow.
