So tonight I will fly to Almaty. I will speak at Tech Forum Central Asia as a trainer for young people from South and Central Asia. 

This is my first time to Kazakhstan, and I just started learning some Russion on Google Translate LOL.

It's pretty difficult but funny process obtaining the visa. But it's made possible  because God wants me to go there. 

As usual, before a trip I become a bit mellow. I always consider myself a cold-blooded woman. But when I speak to Trinity the day before, I realized that I'm a teary-eye bawang putih compared to her. She's like: I travel because I want to, no romantic reasons behind it.

I realized that earth is so big. What was once my fear of boredom after fulfilling my dream trip to Paris, becoming irrelevant. So many beautiful places I never been to. And I'm willing to walk and discover. For the earth is my prayer mat.

Tech Forum Central Asia

I spent a whole day yesterday crafting my slides to conduct a training in Almaty, Kazakhstan this mid June. I will guide a training on how to use technology for social good, to a bunch of young people from South Asia and Central Asia. This year, the forum is going to focus on women issues. Which align perfectly with my focus and interests.

I guess I got carried away on researching because I ended up finishing the training material with 188 slides and 93MB in size for 3 hours training :))

This will be my first time in Almaty, so, I’m excited! It’s also a good chance for me to meet with the young people from the -Stans countries and look closer to the problems that we need to solve together as a group. Hope they will come back with inspirations in their head to do more for their society.
