Took a morning walk to the strange sound of seagulls today. We’re about an hour or so from the coast in the car so it felt a little odd but welcome. One of the pathways along the field at the back of Alma Woods has been overtaken by Queen Anne’s lace or cow parsley or wild carrot or some such. It’s taller than me which gave great covering to watch the hawks lark around in the nearby trees.
