22. From the outside looking in, what is their dynamic like?
I think, to a lot of people on the periphery, they seem like a mess, but... a mess that works. Somehow.
You know from canon what Hyth and Emet are like on their own together, I imagine Peitho (Azem) isn’t around often but when she is actually in Amaurot, she and Hyth often compete for how much forbidden PDA they can get away with - they have the most directly in common (or at least come across that way outwardly), but Peitho is a lot more stubborn and a lot more willing to thrown her own weight around. She and Emet alternate with seemingly no rhyme or reason between arguing and very delicate flirting, and no one can tell whether there’s actually any problem or they just have an impossible-to-parse love language.
When the three of them are together in public, Peitho often comes across as the one most directly “in charge”, even though Emet seems more responsible and Hyth seems more levelheaded (spoiler: one of these things is maybe actually true).
30. How does their love change as they get older?
I don’t have a concrete timeline for them, but I presume they officially became a “thing” when Hyth was already established, Hades was not, and Peitho was in her stint at the Words of Halmarut before Venat scouted her as an apprentice. I honestly doubt these three had much of a honeymoon period - the transition to old married couple vibes was likely pretty quick by ancient standards, but since it coincided with two of them joining the Convocation, it was probably necessary. They were all busy, and one of them was frequently away, so the easiest way to show love became through the little gestures of support and attention, when possible (including, you know, letting Peitho summon you when she needs you lol).
...I don’t want to get too deep into the myriad of problems that arose between them all during the Final Days and the summoning of Zodiark and Hydaelyn, it just makes me sad, but... suffice it to say, Emet's enduring obsessions are proof that they never actually stopped loving each other, just that all of them had very different ways of personally addressing the bigger picture, and that meant having to put the other two at a lower priority.
It is also maybe worth noting that I write Peitho with intentional parallels to ShB Emet. I like the notion that a lot of his quirks later down the line developed from emulating her and Hyth, it just hurts my heart good.
