has anyone written a reader who genuinely doesn't want to get into a relationship but keeps getting romantically pursued by others / purposefully acts as dense as a boulder, even perhaps constantly friendzones/familyzones the person(s) pursuing them, in hopes their suitors would eventually lose interest in them?

I'm a fan of the oblivious!reader thing but I feel like a reader who just acts dense to throw ppl off their back for some reasons? heck, they might as well be doing it to watch their admirer's expression turn crestfallen/embarrassed/nervous/frustrated/etc. for weird reasons or just doing it cuz they're simply not interested lol

(there's also "reader doesn't believe that they deserve love" but eh, not my usual cup of tea but it can be anyone else's if that's how they like it)

reader would pull the most ridiculous shit against their love interests that it would either a) frustrate them into just giving up, b) becoming MORE INTERESTED and trying harder to pursue the reader (🫩🫩), or c) eventually accept/come to the conclusion that reader wouldn't want to be with them/doesn't want to be in a relationship

even if they were screamed at to their face that they are liked romantically by their pursuer, reader wouldn't hesitate to say:

“aww, that's so sweet!! I like you too, my friend!” or “nice! I like myself too” or “it's only natural that you like me, we are friends after all” any of those alternatives

I dont often see myself as the reader (or "y/n", (name), mc, etc.) cuz i keep seeing them as their own person (funny, cuz they're me and everyone else who is reading) so it might seem a bit weird for me to refer to the reader.. like that

i saw someone in the twst did their take on this idea with yuu and it was genuinely hilarious i love it sm
