Forever dreaming about the Cullen romance
Anybody asked for some screenshots of Almithara and Sera?
Please enjoy my lovely lesbian elves
I’m in the mood to play more. Let’s see what happens next. The saga starts [here] and you can find the previous entry [here] (this is the 4th entry)
Forgot to show you this earlier, but like... I am so hype for these two disaster lesbians to kiss
Anyway, we are back to the hinterlands, and things are going well for now, found another Dalish Elf, Mihris we got to befreind for a bit, found a ruin and... ooh shiny thing on the hill?
OH FUCK i forgot about this bullshit, but I guess we gotta find all the shards now.
Finally, a friendly face with who we can talk without interruptions. a nice civil chat.
Fucking bandits....
But yeah, we recruited Blackwall, will be nice to have a TOTALLY REAL gray warden in our ranks. Dealt with the Templar encampment, and I think it’s time we went and got some new armour crafted up for our party members, and start scheming
It is so hard to get them to pose together, because they keep walking away when getting too close. But I have semi-matching armour for Almithara and Sera, both using Nugskin for the leather, and Almithara has some Samite for the lining, and Sera uses Velveteen. Honestly, it is a tiny bit too bright on Sera, but I don’t really have access to good red leather, which i would have gone for instead if it was available. I would like to make more weapons and armour for the rest, but ran out of supplies, so we are going to the storm coast now, for more adventures!
(I am slightly worried about the implications of going here, I don’t know if the area has any travel points, aside from camps, but I’m trying not to use those for fast travel. Either way, I can’t leave until I find a travel point, soooo... For now, at least. the first stop is meeting the leader of the Chargers
The Chargers are recruited, Genuinely love the entire company, and really need to do more with em, tbh
We recruited the Blades of Hesserian, gonna try and get as many agents and influence as possible. I also discovered that the only “world map” point I can access on the storm coast is at the first camp in the north, Now that the blades don’t attack us anymore, it is a bit safer, but I gotta travel here every time I wanna leave. it will get grating eventually. The storm coasts are also provind to be very dangerous, So I plan to do a bit more levelling before returning. so we are going to the Hinterlands again!
Something odd is going on with the mages.... I actually don’t plan to go the mage route this time, partially because I never did the Templars before, and partially because I don’t wanna conscript the mages, yet setting them free loses approval with Sera. But I am doing the quests here now, to gain some more XP before we go to the templars.
And we found the gay best friend. Surely he can handle Alexius and all the Venatori by himself while we deal with the templars, right? future posts will be available [soon]
wwwwwwwwwWe are going to the Hinterlands! pack your bags! You can find the previous livetumble [here] or the very first [here] all the good stuff is under the cut as always
Welcome to the Hinterlands, the land of battle, green forests, horses and way too many bears.
Almithara is beginning to get really sick of being called the Herald of Andraste. she is just herself, and not some hero for the humans to raly behind.
All she wants is to make sure her own people (the Dalish) are safe, but more and more, the realisation sets in that the entire world of Thedas will rely on her, and needs her to be safe. A responsibility she will not turn away from, no matter how overwhelming it gets. Okay, also a few notes. Still on Nightmare, and it is still going well so far. Im also trying to minimize fast travel, to the point that to leave Haven, I walk to the gates outside and the travel point. Not sure how well that will work inside the larger areas, but I’ll come up with something after exploring more. For now, I’m focussing on looking after the people at the crossroads. and slowly branch out to get more and more quests, trying to avoid going into higher level areas too early.
“hey, your wife is dead, wanna join my army?” Love the way you recruit agents in this game tbh. Though I am also reminded of how much I kinda dislike the power mechanic. I do a lot of sidequests, so I always have too many, but people who just want to do the story will end up barely having enough. I wish instead, doing sidequests provded some more clear and tangible direct aid to the world, instead of a more undefined “power”
one overlapping trait I will try and maintain for this run: we will side with and help sapphics whenever we can.
So welcome to the Inquisition Ritts, we can use your talents well I was planning to clear out all of Dwarfson’s pass for now, but one of the rifts is level 8, and my party is level 4 so... back to the crossroads for now. Gonna hand in all the quests I can. For fast travel, I’ll permit myself to use the travel points on the map, such as the stone at the Crossroads, but I cannot travel to camps, or other places that do not have a specific item for it in the overworld, just to make expeditions out into areas a bit more dangerous.
Okay, took a short detour to pick up the ring for the Elven Widow. but now, we delivered the ram meat and potion, got plenty of power, and are ready to head back to haven... next stop, Val Royeaux
Finally got enough Drakestone to make a fire staff too. And need to save up some cloth for a better armour piece fo Almithara, but it’s getting along nicely. Don’t have any rogue armour yet, but I did get new armour for Cassandra. Gotta hunt more schematics still, but so far crafting is going very well.
We are going to Orlais! Get in!
We are here to cause trouble.
Well, the chantry proved as useless as Almithara would have expected. and the Templars are showboating for some reason. Time to go... ooh wait what’s this arrow with a message saying?
LESBIAN SPOTTED
Still really love this intro. “Just say what” I love her so much I kinda missed the opportunity to get a good screenshot from the moment, but we also recruited Vivienne already. The team is getting together bit by bit. Okay, used up my power to get the Storm coast and the Fallow Mire opened up for now. Gonna try and recruit The Iron Bull and Blackwall soon, then maybe try and clear whatever missions I can for now, and gain some more XP, got a lot still going on in the Hinterlands too. But it is all going well! The next chapter should be here [soon]
Continuing the livetumblign adventures of Almithara Lavellan. Previous post is [here] We will be exploring Haven, and making a proper looking set of armour for Almithara.
honestly, not really of a fan of any of the armours we start with. The mercenary coat is fine, but just not something that really fits Almithara personality wise. A part of me is considering running around in the Antaam-Saar
But I feel like it’s a bit... too much, like, this is not something Almithara would really wear into battle, even if I love how it looks generally. so as soon as possible, we will be trying to craft some armour that actually fits her.
As a Dalish Elf, Almithara has some complex feelings about a city elf being forced to kneel for her. It is nice that she isn’t distrusted but like, she does not want this either, especially not seeing another elf so scared of her.
Heard you shemlen were talking shit about me...
These three together are just Galight, Gatekeep, Girlboss personified. But yeah, Almithara agrees to help the inquisition, for now. Needing their protection from the chantry mostly. And she was sent to the Conclave to discover if the Mage/Templar war would be a threat to her people. The breach presents a clear threat now, so she is obligated to investigate it, and if she can, stop it.
Can’t really get a better pic, but this is the current equiped gear, armour and weapon are self crafted, every character will stick to default until I can craft something better for them. Once we get to Skyhold, I want to change the colours of this armour though. Also the staff is Electricity, but once I get the materials for it, I will craft a fire one.
just.. .without comment, love this shot.
I feel like... Leliana, love, you have a dalish wife, surely you would like... understand that Almithara does not really have any ties to Andraste, and would not be comfortable with such a question, darling?
I’m actually having a lot of fun with how Almithara tries to gather intel. She can’t quite trust anyone in the Inquisition yet, it’s all happening too fast for that. She trusts Varric, since he seems to be in a similar situation as her. But with the rest, she needs to know more first. She is actually quite good at getting that information, acting dumb, and trying to figure out more, bit by bit., asking questions that don’t seem important, to coax out more info. This doesn’t really work on Leliana though, making her hardest to read. She does like josephine the most so far, she seems diplomatic, and the most kind and straightforward with her. And she can respect the diplomatic need to make everyone get along, she saw plenty of that as the Keeper’s first. Going to the Hinterlands [next]
Considering livetumbling my latest Inquisiton playthough, cuz I need to put more attention into my Inky tbh This will focus on the intro, and making my character.
anyway, we are going to the enclave, let’s hope nothing goes wrong... Also, I plan to play on Nightmare (we will see how long that lasts, lol) mostly craft armour and weapons, and for romance, go for the game’s best elf.
OKAY WHO DID IT THIS TIME?!?! anyway, I’m always really bad at using character creators tbh, but I’m kinda happy with the resutl, anyway, this is Almithara Lavellan
Elven mage, (mostly specializing in fire) has a few face scars from rough training with her sister, and I am justifying my love for unrealistic purple eyes by saying “she kinda made them that way with magic” don’t question it.
Okay, I’m actually really glad with how she turned out in the end, usually at this stage when we get natural light, I give up on the game because I cannot get a proper looking OC out of the CC, but Almithara actually looks good for once. Also, It is so lovely to see Cassandra and Leliana again, forgot how much I missed them.
Almithara just casually threatens all the humans because she is DONE with this and just wants to go back to her family as soon as the breach is dealt with.
Our friend is here!
Iconic walking around with his shirt open in the cold,
First real choice of the playthrough! Almithara chooses the mountain path, she doesn’t fully trust the soldiers of the Inquisition, and with her own experience as a Dalish Elf, favours her chances in the mountain path.
The funny shield I found for Cassandra makes for a funny frame here, tbh. Kinda surprised I got past the first demon boss so quickly, tough fight on Nightmare, but the inquisition troops were adequate meat shields to get me past so far. Anyway, gonna keep playing, but future entries in Almithara’s wacky adventures I will provide links here. [next]
