So I've barely written anything for the past few months (it's been kind of busy). But I'm writing now, and I only have 82 words left until I hit 10k! So I'll definitely hit that tonight. But to celebrate, here's a little exposition on magic. (This is from Not Only Petals)
“Magic is just using energy. It comes from the Aethirial, and it flows though everyone and everything. When you use magic you’re just directing the energy that flows through everything. When someone becomes able to use magic, people say that it awakened in them. Normally it’s like the energy is asleep. It doesn’t do very much--until it wakes up.
