END OF CAMP NANO

Okay guys, so Camp NaNoWriMo July 2014 is officially over where I am, in Scotland. I had spent the entire night frantically writing to the point of sweating, and I eventually gave up entirely on spelling and punctuation and do you know what? Because I procrastinated, I missed out on winning.

And not by a few thousand words. Not even one thousand.

My word count goal was 35k, and I got 34,688 words. I was 312 words away from winning for God's sake. And if I had started writing just five minutes earlier? I would have won. 

BUT you know, that's the closest I've ever come to winning, ever. And, yeah, it's 15k less words than when it's actual NaNoWriMo,  but still, I'm impressed with myself. I wrote long and hard in these last few days, and I had basically two weeks out of action, and I was only fucking 312 words away, so I'm personally counting that as a win. Also because I now have about half a first draft that I can now finish and make perfect, and it's a first draft that turned out pretty darn well.

Basically, I'm proud. And now, I can sleep and read and draw without feeling guilty! Huzzah! AND, most importantly...

I can decide which novel I'll write for November! >u<
