Does Maud remain besties with Cora or do they eventually grow apart?

They stay very close! Cora tries really hard to get Maud to right her familial wrongs and eventually contributes to Maud's reconciliation with her family. Besides her love interest, Cora is Maud's biggest support. thank you for the ask!

I noticed that a Grimalldi already married into the family and now it’s kinda weird to me that Edmond and Maud have a sexual relationship? And if he ends up marrying/having a baby with an Alnwick, too … I could be wrong but it feels off since they do share blood relatives even if they aren’t like first cousins. Did you address that already? Not trying to be rude but I was just wondering what you and thegrimalldis thoughts are.

Hi! Not rude at all! It's a good question :)

So even though there is already a Grimalldi-Alnwick marriage, there is no blood relation at all between Maud and Edmond. Their shared cousins are through Minnie Grimalldi and Henry Alnwick's marriage. Maud's first cousins are Minnie and Henry's triplets. Those triplets are actually Edmond's second cousins, because they are the grandkids of his grandmother Helena's brother.

Although it seems like they are all interconnected, at the end of the day, there is no Grimalldi blood anywhere in Victoria's ancestry and there is no Alnwick blood in Max or Margot's. It's kinda funny that Maud and Edmond share first/second cousins, but they themselves are not cousins and have no blood or genetic relationship.

If Maud and Edmond were to have a baby, it would be like two strangers having a baby since there is no genetic similarities between the two.

This could just be the prude in me but the thought of Caroline being with someone that her sister has been with make me uneasy.

I also feel that she deserves someone of her own who loves her and not to be thinking about if they would rather be with her sister or comparing what they had with said sister.

I feel like she's gonna get the short end of the stick really.................

u guys!! 😅 caroline just has a CRUSH! she knows that maud and edmond are friends with benefits but i definitely understand where you're coming from! but it's kind of like that with any relationship... if you don't feel secure in the relationship then you can't help but wonder if your partner would rather be with their ex!!
