Something tells her this isn’t going to be quite the same as driving a normal horse.
To be fair, Eunji’s never quite driven a horse either - riding them is more of what she’s known and it seems, for all its danger, significantly easier with the give and the take and the contact and the ease in figuring out what the creature wants. She’s sure that chariot racers have figured out some sort of feedback system as well (it’s still a sport after all) but she’s not quite sure how it works when there’s a beak instead of a mouth.
Of course, this is all to be worried about later - much later - when said hippogriff has decided that yes, these humans are fine and no, he doesn’t want them in bloody bits and pieces courtesy of what seem to be a nicely sharpened pair of talons.
Perhaps Eunji will leave this to Aegis.
“You know,” she starts easily. If she sidles back a bit - a good metre at least - at least there’s no one to note it. “We can still opt out of this. I’m sure there are plenty of people who’ve enjoyed Greece very well without hurtling through hippogriff races. I hear beaches are nice too - nice and calm and not generally deadly.”
