(Gifted) Along Came Coco by Eva Byrne . How gorgeous is this picture book? The reason why I like picture book biographies so much is because I actually learn something about famous people. I don’t have the time to read biographies on every single inspirational person out there, and these (to me) are great alternatives to see whose stories interest me. For instance, did you know Coco Chanel grew up in a convent? Or that she played a big role in creating fashion without corsets? (I feel like that last one might be common knowledge, but I honestly didn’t know 🤷🏻♀️) The amazing illustrations certainly help as well - this might be one of the prettiest picture books I’ve seen so far this year. I love the style of the illustrations, and also the detail in them (that hidden cover below the dust jacket was a real treat as well!) I’m certain Eva Byrne will be an instant-buy author for me now! . Thank you @abramschronicle for sending me a review copy! . . . #alongcamecoco #evabyrne #abramschronicle #picturebook #kidlit #childrensbooks #booksandnature #booksinbloom #cocochanel #nonfiction #childrensnonfiction #raisingareader #booksinthewild #momstagram #inspirationalwomen #momsofinstagram #kidsbookstagram #kidsbookshelf https://www.instagram.com/p/BxgM7eOgg2x/?igshid=1777l9lffe7kl
