Ingredients
4 Boiled potatoes / aloo (pieces) 1 Big Onion (piece) 2 Green chilly (pcs) 1 cups Besan 1/2 cups Rawa Sooji 1/2 tbsp Salt (as per taste) 1 tbsp Red Chili powder 1/3 tbsp Ajawin / Carom seeds 1 tbsp Turmeric / Haldi powder 1 tbsp Roasted Jeera powder 1/2 tbsp Aamchur Powder 1/2 tbsp Sabut Jeera / Cumin 1/3 tbsp Chaat Masala 1/2 tbsp Coriander powder 500 ml Oil (Frying Oil) Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
Step 1 Prepare Batter: Very initial step is preparing batter for Pakoras. Take a bowl and add all ingredients; Besan 1 cup, Sooji 1/2 cup, 1/2 red Chilly powder, 1/2 tbsp Salt as per taste, 1/3 tbsp turmeric powder, Roasted jeera powder, 1/3 tbsp carom/ ajawain powder. then add water to mix all ingredients using a whisk and prepare a smooth batter.
Step 2 Masala balls making: Let Potatoes boil in a presure cooker for 2-3 whistles and after that peel them off. Also finely chop onions, green chily ad coriander leaves. Mesh all ingredients and ad some salt followed by red chilly powder, 1/2 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp jeera dana, 1/2 tbsp aamchur powder, 1/3 chaat masala. Now mix all stuff altogether. Now start creating masala balls out of this prepared stuff.
Step 3 Deep Frying: Take a pan, add oil for heating. after a certain temperature of oil, start frying masala ball by dipping masala ball into batter and then dropping smoothly one by one into frying oil pan. Fry all masala balls by reapeating batter dipping and frying process. Sign of turning masala bal into Golden brown is they area ready so take them out and place over a tissue wrapped container. Now Pakoras are ready to serve.
Step 4 Serving: Our Pakodas are ready to serve for 3-4 people, Serve these delicious Pakoras can be served with green chutney or even with tomatoes sauce. Happy serving and eating.
