At age eighteen, he was already renowned mechanic. People usually doubted him when they would find out how young he was. But once they saw him in action, they couldn't really pick at the skills he showed. It was becuase of this skill that he was picked for this particular mission. The details of the mission was a little lost to him. All he knew was that they were going out to find this lost city. Honestly he stopped listening at some point during their explanation. Point was, he was more then willing to take on the job. What they left out was how close to death he would get. They completely lost the ship, leaving them stranded and if that wasn't bad enough, one of the engines from a truck caught fire and exploded. Leaving him as the sole survivor. Jack had no idea how to get back up to the surface. The only thing he could do was keep moving forward. Which lead him to where he currently was. Standing in front of a bridge, completely in awe at the city that laid before him.
