So it is here... ... an absolutely gorgeous original English language movie poster from 1974 for Andrei Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky's romantic musical "Romans o Vlyublyonnykh", released in the English speaking world as "A Lovers' Romance". When Tanya's boyfriend Sergei is drafted in to the Army, she vows to wait for him, but when his armoured vehicle is carried out to sea he is lost, presumed dead. Destraught, Tanya marries a childhood friend, only for Sergei to return having spent the winter trapped on a desert island. How will they both cope? This is such a wonderful poster. We have no idea who the artwork is by (if you know, please do tell us) but they have captured two young lovers perfectly, innocent within the maelstrom of life around them.
