Day 18 of @yesterday-wasnt-better‘s OFF-tober challenge: The Add-ons
An old humanised add-on picture I had created in 2014, redone for the 2017 challenge. This challenge is just allowing me to go back in time and remember all the OFF stuff I’ve done!
I changed Alpha and Omega because I wanted Omega to be a nervous library nerd.

so I didn't notice this when I played and only realized it during Mark's playthrough but okay in the last part when Hugo is telling mama about meeting the bird and the misters
as he talks about each one, one of the add-ons appears on screen
so that means the add-ons represent the guardians in some way or another
and since they're all kinda religiously themed (if you interpret it that way anyway) maybe they represent the beliefs that led the guardians down the dark paths to being assholes??? and maybe as they each join the batter, he starts gaining those beliefs and they increasingly make him more violent???
idk maybe it has more to do with which add-ons (father, son, spirit) correspond with which guardian
idk I'm not smart enough to really get across what I'm saying
While they moved about, Omega moved over to Alpha. "So, er, Alpha-"
"Don't stand close to me. We only met a minute ago, man." Alpha hissed.
"S-sorry!" he backed away. "What I'm wondering is..." he briefly glanced ahead at the Batter before finishing his question. "...what are the Batter's goals? His overall goal of purifying the world seems interesting, but I'm curious as to what it... entails."
"...As far as I know, we need to kill the guardians."
"K-kill... the guardians? I... I do not understand why he would do that."
"Well, the first one was sort of an asshole anyway."
Omega was silent before he was realized that Alpha used the past tense - he was appalled. "Y-you already off'd Dedan? The first guardian? The tall mister? The director of Alma? H-how-"
"I can hear you guys talking." the Batter interrupted.
""O-oh! Sorry, er, boss, leader... I-I'm not sure what to call you..."
"Just call me the Batter. I don't need any other title." he answered. "If you're curious as to why I'm eliminating the guardians... it will all make sense in time."
"A l-long term plan, then?"
"If you want to call it that."
